DSDS candidate Joshua Ledet raises disturbing allegations against Jennifer Lopez and Chris Brown

American Idol contestant Joshua Ledet is making some wildly wild accusations against former Idol judge Jennifer Lopez and R&B singer Chris Brown. Media Take Out learned that many on social media suspect the singer may be having a psychotic breakdown.

Joshua took to Twitter and claimed his career had stalled because he claimed that Chris Brown and Jennifer Lopez “attacked the fuck” and “did*gs and booze” which would have ruined his career.

He also made some more rambling allegations suggesting the two artists were involved in “illegal things” involving “minors.”

Here is the post:

Joshua Ledet auditioned for AI’s eleventh season in Houston and was immediately dubbed “Mantasia,” the male version of former Idol contestant Fantasia, by fans, the media, and even Fantasia herself.

In the semifinals, he performed Jennifer Hudson’s You Pulled Me Through. He was one of the top five male voters and made the top 13. In the top 13, he sang “I Wish” by Stevie Wonder and was one of the bottom three male voters, but was declared safe.

Ledet received his first standing ovation on Hollywood Round, Part 3, singing his version of Christina Perri’s Jar of Hearts. In the Top 8 round, Ledet received his first standing ovation of the night for his rendition of Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes’ “If You Don’t Know Me by Now”.

His duet of George Michael and Aretha Franklin’s “I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)” with fellow competitor Jessica Sanchez received a second standing ovation from the judges, prompting Jackson to declare, “Two of the greatest singers ever competed in this competition… That’s one of the greatest performances I’ve seen on this show.”

He also performed James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World,” which Randy Jackson called “one of the greatest songs in the history of any singing competition.” AI Season 8 winner Kris Allen called the pair his two favorites this season.

During the Top 5 show, the panel of judges gave Ledet the most praise of any contestant for his versions of The Temptations’ “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg” (1960s theme songs) and The Bee Gees’ “To Love Somebody” (on British Pop).

Ledet received a record 18 standing ovations from the judges, including his duet with season 3 winner Fantasia Barrino in the season 11 finale, the most of any AI contestant. He was eliminated on May 17, 2012, finishing third overall with the lowest total of 90 million votes cast.

After Idol Ledet’s career fizzled out. It’s not clear why, despite this success, he never managed to make a career out of it.
