EastEnders’ Lacey Turner seen puffing on a cigarette as the Stacey Slater star walks barefoot in front of NTAs

LACEY Turner looked hilarious when she was photographed barefoot and puffing on a cigarette after the National Television Awards.

It was a big night for the 35-year-old after EastEnders picked up three awards at the NTAs – including the award for Best Serial Drama Series – beating out rival soap opera Coronation Street.

Actress Lacey, who plays Stacey Slater on the BBC1 show, seemed a world away from Walford as she posed with her co-stars on the red carpet in a red floor-length dress with ruffles.

But it seems she may have been partying a little too hard, as Lacey was later seen panting while clutching her gold strappy heels and her bag.

Lacey is set to star in the upcoming Christmas murder story and Stacey was revealed to be one of the “Six” in a flash-forward episode in February.

Also involved is Sharon Watts [Letitia Dean]Denise Fox [Diane Parish]Linda Carter [Kellie Bright]Suki Panesar [Balvinder Sopal] and Kathy Beale [Gillian Taylforth].

Posing on the red carpet Tuesday night, Lacey, Letitia, Diana, Kellie, Balvinder and Gillian gave nods to the scenes ahead.

The actresses wore outfits in the same colors their characters wore in the Flash Forward episode.

And the male stars of the series also joined in the teasing at the NTAs after it was revealed that the murder victim – an unidentified man – was wearing a suit and cufflinks.

Danny Walters, who plays Keanu Taylor, explained how producers wanted many of the actors to wear the same cufflinks on the red carpet last night.

Speaking to The Sun while attending the NTAs at London’s O2 Arena, the 30-year-old said: “I think there are ten other male actors tonight that they wanted to put the cufflinks on. I think it’s wise that you tease her audience.”
