Elton John’s superfans line up for the Glastonbury set from 4am | Culture

Sir Elton John’s superfans said they queued at 4am on Sunday 25 June for the best seat to see the singer’s final UK performance at Glastonbury.
The 76-year-old delighted fans with an outstanding show featuring many of his best-loved hits and a host of special guests including Rina Sawayama and Brandon Flowers.
It was Sir Elton’s first and last headlining appearance at Glastonbury, which he described as “a very special and emotional evening”.
He thanked fans for their dedication while addressing the crowd.
“I better entertain you, you’ve been there for so long and I really appreciate all the outfits and everything,” Sir Elton said.
