Emergency crews respond to building collapse in Kensington section of Philadelphia, no injuries reported

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Rescue workers responded to a building collapse in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia.
It happened around 9:48 a.m. Wednesday on the streets of Memphis and York.
Firefighters said a three-story townhouse with a pizzeria on the ground floor and apartments above collapsed.
Preliminary information indicates it was unmanned and no injuries were reported.

Rubble has been seen where the building once stood.
A nearby vehicle was covered in dust.

Construction machinery could be seen at the site of the collapse.

The condition of the neighboring properties is checked.
