After finding out that a total hysterectomy was the only way to cure the condition, she told her father that she wanted to have the surgery.

However, Bob was completely against the idea and shut down any further discussion of it.

Now the girl has confided in her friend April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) a new plan – and it’s even riskier.

Cathy has a long relationship with Samson Dingle (Sam Hall), as the couple had a brief romance before he slept with Amelia Spencer.

When Amelia found out she was pregnant, Samson cruelly dumped Cathy, saying his feelings for her were never real.

He was also a terrible father to little Esther, initially refusing to be part of her life and then blackmailing Amelia’s new boyfriend into paying him to spend time with his daughter.

But Cathy never got over him and now he’s showing interest in her again.

When the couple finally plans a date, it becomes clear that Cathy may be planning to become pregnant with the boy, which would temporarily put an end to her monthly suffering.

Will Samson fall for the bait and end up having another baby?

And will pregnancy help Cathy with her severe mood swings or will she react even worse to the new hormones?
