Erling Haaland incredibly tipped to be first footballer to earn £1BILLION with ‘beyond the physical’ revenue streams

ERLING HAALAND is set to become the first footballer to earn a billion pounds.

The Manchester City star’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has claimed he could earn income outside of his typical contract.

It is estimated that 23-year-old Haaland is already earning a whopping £865,000 a week at the Etihad Stadium.

This consists of his weekly salary as well as the considerable bonuses he has earned through his goals and tournament victories.

However, his agent has suggested that this is just the start of the striker’s potential earnings.

Pimenta believes Haaland could become the first footballer to earn £1bn from his image rights.

Pimenta told The guard: “I’m not saying that the transfer fee would reach this amount. I want to talk about the total package that you generate throughout your career.”

“Today you can play until the age of 35. You have to think about salary, transfer fees, broadcasting income, sponsors, ticket sales, jerseys. With a player like Erling, that climbs to a billion.”

“The revenue in the video game industry is enormous. In the metaverse, I might sell a digital Erling Haaland for €2,000 (£1,740.84) to 100 million people in India, China, Brazil, Mexico.”

“Maybe one day we will reach the moment when we can experience a football game with glasses that trigger the same emotions as if I were there.”

“With the virtual experience you really go into 3D. So perhaps we sell the football experience not just to broadcasters but also to individuals who can never afford or find a ticket to the Bernabeu or the Etihad.”

“They can experience the game (on the Metaverse) as if they were there. So when I say a billion, I’m using multipliers that go beyond the physical.”

Pimenta also praised the “professionalism” of the striker and his family and stressed that he remained down to earth.

She added: “I like dealing with the Haalands because they expect professionalism and communicate clearly.”

“It doesn’t matter whether you are a man or a woman. They listen to you. It’s very refreshing.”

“He’s incredible when he has both feet on the ground. He is very aware of who he is and what he represents. He has no illusions.”

“I’ve never seen the negative changes in him that come with fame and fortune.”

“He’s only 23, but he’s so mature, so deep, so calm. And he loves to eat.”
