Eurozone Set to Expand to Croatia Next Year

FRANKFURT—Croatia is on track to adopt the euro next year after European Union regulators said the country met criteria to qualify, a sign the currency bloc continues to expand after years of economic crises and shocks becomes.

The European Commission said it will propose that Croatia become the 20th member country of the eurozone on January 1, 2023.
