Events for the Beyhive to Celebrate Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour of LA

Who rules the world? Queen Bey graces SoFi Stadium with her presence on September 1 to kick off three Renaissance Tour concert dates over Labor Day weekend. To celebrate, themed events will be held at locations around Los Angeles, including film screenings, dance after parties and a high heels choreography class.
Here are some suggested events for people who haven’t been able to snag Beyoncé tickets or just want to “wave your hands and put your hands in the air” with fellow Beyhive fans.

August 25th
Homecoming: A Beyoncé Movie will be shown at the Academy Museum
When: Friday, 7:30 p.m
Where: David Geffen Theater, 6067 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles
Price: $5 to $10
The “Summer of Music: Concert Films 1959-2020” of the Academy Museum” The series will feature “Homecoming: A Beyoncé Movie,” which documents Beychella – Beyoncé’s much-anticipated 2018 Coachella performance after being canceled in 2017 due to pregnancy. The film is interwoven with behind-the-scenes footage from rehearsals and home videos. It celebrates the beauty of black culture and the importance of historically black colleges and universities.
August 30th
A Beyoncé Renaissance style pre-party and beginner dance class
When: Wednesday 7 p.m., Thursday 7 p.m. and Friday 12 p.m
Where: Mihran K. Studios, 5437 Satsuma Ave., North Hollywood
Price: $40 through Eventbrite; space is limited.
Banish, a small skincare company based in Pasadena, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a Beyoncé Renaissance Dance Party. No dance experience is required. However, if you’re interested in learning Beyoncé-inspired moves, choreographer Byron Freeman teaches a beginner’s class.
August 31st
Renaissance class with raised heels
When: Thursday from 7pm to 9pm
Where: 2116 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica
Price: $32 to $45
The HI Women cannabis collective is hosting a weed-friendly event Dance class with high heels celebrating Beyoncé’s residency at SoFi. Come to the studio to practice your moves before the show or just learn how to dance in heels.
September 2nd
Beyoncé Renaissance Afterparty at the Revel
When: 22 O `clock September 2nd to 2am September 3rd
Where: Revel, 1710 N Las Palmas Ave. Los Angeles
Price: Free entry before 11pm. After 11:00 PM, advance tickets are $20 and general admission is $40. Text or call (310) 699-8799 to reserve a table and inquire about other accommodations.

Beyoncé night at Strut Bar & Club
When: 22 O `clock September 2nd to 2am September 3rd
Where: Strut Bar & Club, 719 W. 19th St., Costa Mesa
Price: Free before 11pm, $5 after
Strut Bar & Club‘S Beyoncé tributes with a performance by Mia Starr and beats by DJ Jae Fusz. Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to honor Bey.
Renaissance Afterparty at Catwalk Club
When: 11pm September 2nd to 2am September 3rd
Where: The Catwalk Club, 698 Harlem Place, Los Angeles
Price: Free before 12:30pm with RSVP
If you feel like falling in love with the dance floor, then grab your friends and head there the catwalk club. Dance the night away to the tunes led by the Catwalk DJ.
