Fallout 76 Expansion Expeditions: The Pitt Hits PC And Consoles This Fall

Pete Hines took the stage at today’s Xbox Showcase to present a bevy of Bethesda projects. Along with looks at Elder Scrolls Online and a roundup of Redfall, which opened the event in style, the Bethesda executive unveiled a new expansion for Fallout 76. The company’s online multiplayer game got off to a rocky start, but Bethesda has held on to its title worked , with several story expansions and updates to the game world. However, this is the first update we’ve had to the title in a while since the last major expansion came last year.

The Pitt’s story takes place in post-war Pittsburgh, a place we haven’t seen since Fallout 3. Described as “a grim industrial wasteland crippled by conflict,” players join forces with the Union, a band of mechanically skilled fighters attempting to liberate their homeland from assailants the fanatics have dubbed. This task is made even more difficult by the fact that The Pitt’s poisonous wasteland warps the minds of its inhabitants.

Fallout 76’s Expeditions: The Pitt is out this September.
