Fans of Eagle-eyed Neighbors are seeing big changes set to emerge when the rebooted soap returns to screens

EAGLE-EYED Neighbors fans noticed a big change in the show today as the rebooted soap returned to our screens.
The popular Australian soap opera made its highly anticipated comeback this morning.
Amazon’s free streaming platform with advertising called Freevee has revived the show after it was axed by Channel 5 last year.
Neighbors was welcomed with open arms by fans and they discovered something different about the soap.
Some houses now have a fourth wall to make it look more realistic.
This is a new dynamic for the popular show and something not typically used in daytime series.
After the first episode of Neighbors dropped this morning, fans were left baffled by the soap’s “nonsensical” time jump following its return.
The show has jumped forward two years and is now technically in the Future.
And that didn’t confuse loyal Neighbors fans so much, as a huge twist shocked them at the end of the episode.
Viewers were left speechless as Terese prepared to marry who they thought was Paul.
However, as she walked down the aisle, it was Toadie who was waiting for the bride.
It was then revealed how Toadie and Melanie – who married in the last episode on Channel 5 – had split up.
On social media, fans have criticized the “confusing” reboot.
One said: “It’s so nice to have neighbors again! I just looked at it and am completely confused. Why? Are they getting married? Wtf?”
A second wrote: “WHAT WAS THAT… Terese and Toadie?! Totally confused, that was so random considering how it ended last time.”
“And Susan said it’s been two years since the show ended, which is wrong,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “Neighbors is back today and after this episode I’m really confused.”
Neighbors is available now Amazon Freevee.
