Boss Guardiola is aiming to win his first Champions League since 2011 and his first European title since leaving Barcelona.

The 52-year-old has endured a string of heartbreaking departures over the past 12 years, with fans often accusing him of “overthinking” his selection.

Examples of this include his infamous man-to-man three-pointers in defence, which he used as Bayern Munich manager against Barca.

While he also chose not to use a defensive midfielder in the 2021 final against Chelsea.

During this week’s City training session, smoking hot winger Grealish was spotted between the posts – and fans joked that Guardiola was about to make his craziest selection yet.

One jokingly asked, “What’s Pep cooking?”

While a second quipped: “Ederson & Rodri double pivot. I like it.”

And a third tweeted: “He’s definitely using Twitter.”

He said: “I’ve been here many times.

“My legacy is already extraordinary. I told the players to enjoy the moment – we’re incredibly lucky to be here.”

“It’s in our hands, it’s up to us, we don’t have to do anything extraordinary – just win a game to reach the final.”

“I have an incredible feeling about them. Whatever happens – thank you to them for bringing me and the City fans back here.”
