Taking to her social media page, the fashion stylist and image consultant first posted a snap of model Hailey Bieber wearing a see-through white maxi dress.

The 26-year-old paired the outfit with white underwear, a matching purse and sneakers.

“This is how you don’t wear white,” explains Montserrat. “I am a fashion stylist and image consultant and I wanted to share with you my best tips for wearing white, when wearing linen, anything see-through.”

Explaining that this is only for white clothes, not black, she says you don’t want to wear white on transparent fabric.

“Why? Because it’s going to show so much more,” she said.

“I know you think wearing white underwear with white clothes will make it go away… not really.”

She then reveals what you should do instead of her saying, “You’re going to get some nude lingerie.”

TikTok user @itsmontserratvarela recommended Oysho for this purpose, which sells these bundles for around £15.

She continues: “Make sure you choose a color that is similar to your skin tone. “It doesn’t have to be exactly the same. As long as it’s the same, you’re fine.”

People were quick to comment with one pointing out that Hailey Bieber most likely did it on purpose for the sake of style.

“I think she knows this and it’s style,” t.

The fashion stylist replied: “Of course it is. But like I said, a lot of people think it won’t show.”

“This rule also applies to white tops – use a beige bra,” another shared as a third said: “red doesn’t show under white either!”

While one person boldly stated, “Just buy clothes with better materials, I think any see-through fabric makes you look cheap.”
