Fat Joe says he believes Ja Morant is trying to get kicked out of the NBA.
Morant has been suspended for a second time this year after showing guns on social media.
“This man tries very hard to play for Turkey, China or Serbia [and] Montenegro. He’s trying with all his might to get kicked out of the NBA. The people who are with you are not your people, yes. They do not care. This is a problem we have with our community. become famous. become celebrities. Because the people around you like it when the girls are watching. You love the lifestyle. But they not you,” says Joe.
Morant has been suspended but the ban has no end date.
“They didn’t dribble the basketball in the snow at Christmas to figure out the Kobe moves or the Jordan moves,” he said. “They haven’t put in as much work as you. And guess what? When you get kicked out of the NBA, it’s the same people who are going to be like, ‘Yo, he didn’t suck anyway.’ It is what it is.’ Yes, these are not your people. Anyone telling you or pointing you in the direction of ignorance is not on your side.”
