RIDLEY TWP., Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Pennsylvania State Police were investigating a fiery accident on Interstate 95 Friday night.

According to police, the accident involving a car happened around 10 p.m. in Ridley Township, Pennsylvania.

The accident affected the southbound lanes near the Pa. Route 420 out.

According to the authorities, a car overturned and caught fire. At least one person was seriously injured.

The accident led to significant traffic delays.

In addition to the crash, traffic in the area was crawling all Friday night due to urgent construction work.

What caused the crash is still unclear.
