The fashion accessories and gifts brand first opened in Port Townsend almost two decades ago.

This store closed five years ago and now the last three stores are going through a big change.

It has been announced that the Gig Harbor, Ruston and Poulsbo locations will be closed.

All shops have a sign on the door that says “shop is closed”.

Taking to social media, Tickled Pink said, “Our last day for our stores to be open is Memorial Day, May 29th.”

“We only have a few weeks left for this incredible sale.”

“More and more products are in stock, so keep checking back for more great items.”

Loyal fans expressed their disappointment at the news, saying: “So sad to see you go! I love shopping at your store.”

Others added: “I will miss this store for sure” and “Oh no!!! love tickled pink!”

However, further details that Tickled Pink gave in the comments confused fans.

In the comments, the brand added: “We will be releasing all three locations on 05/29. close. We hope the closure lasts a very short time before we open all three with our new apparel focus.”

“We can’t wait to introduce it to everyone.”

“This post is so confusing. They close but reopen?” wrote one Facebook user.

Tickled Pink apologized for the confusion and tried to clarify the situation.

The comment read: “Sorry it’s confusing, we’re closing all our TP stores and everything you’ve ever known is pink.”

“But instead of the space being empty and the staff gone, we’re adapting and changing our theme and products to be more individual.”

“We already print all of our garments, so we have more room to expand on all the products we design and make.”

“Therefore, we will reopen with a new name based on the direction of our apparel wholesale business.”

There is no official statement from the company regarding this clarification.

Instead, the brand encourages shoppers to “give Tickled Pink’s stores a great send-off.”

The company is currently running large clearance sales to sell off its latest products.

“And so we say goodbye to Tickled Pink. The journey is over and while we certainly shed a few tears, we are excited for our new path and ready for a new direction.”
