Here’s a trailer for the PlayStation 4 remaster:
Final Fantasy VI, VII, VII, X, XII, XIII, and XV heavily based on science fiction and cyberpunk or steampunk, but Final Fantasy IX much more in line with the classic style of medieval high fantasy. You get a thief, summoners, traditional knights and black mage, and lots of other iconic visuals reminiscent of the first few entries in the franchise. The central romance is a major part of the story, but despite that, the overall experience easily becomes one of the most fun and kid-friendly Final Fantasy stories ever.
