Firaxis delays Marvel’s Midnight Suns, maybe until 2023

Take-Two Interactive has delayed the release of again Marvel’s Midnight Suns. After a delay late last year, XCOM developer Firaxis’ was due to arrive on October 7th. The publisher now plans to release the game sometime in fiscal year 2023, which ends on March 31, 2023. midnight suns will not arrive on all consoles at the same time.

“We have made the decision to delay the launch date of Marvel’s Midnight Sun to ensure the teams at Firaxis Games and 2K provide our fans with the best possible experience,” Take-Two said in a statement. “The title will be available later this fiscal year on Windows PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions will follow at a later date.”

Marvel’s Midnight Sun was first announced at Gamescom 2021. Unlike XCOM, the game includes a deck building component. Battles still develop over multiple turns, but instead of each superhero bringing the same abilities to each battle, you draw cards to determine their abilities. Some of the characters that will join your roster are Wolverine, Iron Man, and Blade. You will also create your own superhero called The Hunter.
