Firefighters tackle blaze at Ant McPartlin’s former Chiswick home

A fire has broken out at ITV presenter Ant McPartlin’s former home.

Dozens of firefighters, along with six fire engines, raced to tackle the blaze in Chiswick this morning.

The £5million property is owned by the star’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong, who rents out the house.

The fire broke out in Grove Park Gardens

The London Fire Brigade said the fire broke out in Grove Park Gardens and a 32m ladder was used at the scene.

A local resident said The Independent: “The fire looks pretty serious and is definitely not under control. An ambulance passed me as I drove down the street with my lights and siren on.”

The fire department’s first emergency call came at 9:46 a.m. Crews from Chiswick, Hammersmith, Richmond and surrounding fire stations are at the scene.

The cause of fire is not discovered yet.
