First look at new Minion Land set to open at Universal Orlando

A brand new Minion Land launches in the United States – and fans of the film will love it.

Universal theme park Orlando has announced the new attraction to open on Illumination Avenue.

open this Summerthe new land is an anticipation of the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction.

Guests are greeted by 22 minions before proving their villainous skills in Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast.

Children can compete against each other there gaming experience before setting out on the path to enlightenment theatre.

Characters like the Minions as well as Gru, Margo, Edith and Agnes will entertain guests before performing the hit Movie To sing.

The Minion Café will have three areas – the kitchen – where the Minions do their jobs Cook – the break room, where you can learn tips on safety in the office – and the dining room.

The menu features things like Otto’s Noodle Bowl, Agnes’ Honeymoon Soup, and Carl’s Crispy Cauliflower, as well as snacks like the Steak & “Cheese Ray” Sandwich and Bob’s Teddy Bear Chocolate Cream Puff.

There will also be options for kids, including Mini Boss’ Mega Melt.

For some sweet treats, Bake My Day offers cupcakes, macarons and s’mores, as well as merchandise such as Clothing and toys.

Or head to Pop-a-Nana and enjoy banana-flavored popcorn along the way while Freeze Ray pops serve up frozen Lollipop.

There will be colorful murals and photo opportunities throughout the attraction.

An official opening date has not yet been set.
