First Reviews From Cannes Film Festival

More than 99% of the world still has a month to wait for Indiana Jones’ return, however Thursday at the Cannes Film Festivalvery lucky visitors had the opportunity to see the world premiere of Indiana Jones and the dial and fate, along with the cast and crew.

Co-writer and director James Mangold was on hand, along with Indy himself, Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook and newcomer Ethann Isidore all appearing The photo shoot from the festival above.

That’s all well and good, but you’re here because of the big question: How is the movie? Did Mangold make an Indiana Jones? Movie worthy of the franchise? Or did the whole cast want to climb into a fridge and fly away at the end of the night? Here are some of the first reactions:
