Former Real Housewives of Potomac star Katie Rost are doing BAD…now working for MINIMUM WAGE!

Former Real Housewives of the Potomac star Katie Rost used to be a wealthy Maryland socialite … now Media Take Out has learned she works at a Long Island golf club for $14 an hour.

Katie was fired from the Bravo show after she started showing signs of serious mental illness. Ever since she left the show, her life has spiraled out of control.

Katie was divorced from her husband and lost custody of their children. She also posted a series of disturbing messages on social media suggesting she may have suffered from substance abuse.

Now she’s finally getting her life back on track – but she’s starting from scratch. Katie told her fans: “I started working, like a real job. I just got off an 8 hour minimum wage shift.”

Media Take Out learned that Katie works as a sales clerk at Winged Foot, a Long Island golf club.

Katie added that she “feels like a real person and not a reality TV person; I was making $14 an hour… keepin it real.”

Katie Rost was a former Potomac housewife and friend of the show.

Katie was a controversial character who frequently raised questions about race and color on the show – and always let people know she was “biracial”. As reported by Media Take Out, she once told her castmates, “The color of my skin doesn’t define me, my homeschooling does. My parents never gave up one race to improve another. I was raised by special parents and dynamite grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles and cousins. Great upbringing.”
