Fortnite downtime: When will servers be available again today (November 21st)?
FORTNITE players are unable to log into the game this morning, November 21, 2023, and many are wondering when the servers will be back.
The servers of the successful battle royale are currently down for planned maintenance to bring the v27.11 update into the game.

Is Fortnite currently in downtime?
Yes, Fortnite servers are now down due to scheduled maintenance to release update v27.11.
This is the second update to Fortnite OG, the new season that takes players back to when the game was first released.
An update for Fortnite OG is being released today. November 21, 2023.
As always, the developers at Epic Games informed players in advance about the maintenance period.
Matchmaking in Fortnite was disabled 30 minutes before maintenance began this morning, in preparation for the deployment of v27.11, which began at 9am UK time / 4pm ET.
Epic Games has reported on the downtime on the Twitter account “Fortnite Status” shortly before the servers shut down.
When a new update is released, Fortnite servers are usually unavailable for a few hours in the morning.
How long is Fortnite downtime?
Epic Games hasn’t provided any end times for the planned maintenance, but we can make a guess based on previous updates.
Fortnite players can always check with the official for updates on the game’s server status Fortnite status twitter account.
Real-time outage reporting aggregator DownDetector is another good place to get up-to-date information on Fortnite server availability.
How long will Fortnite be unavailable for patch v27.11?
We don’t know exactly how long it will take to deploy the patch, but server maintenance times for previous updates have taken up to three or four hours.
If this is the case with the deployment of patch v27.11, we should expect the servers to be back online at 12pm UK time / 7am ET.
