Forza Motorsport Revealed, Releasing Spring 2023

Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios unveiled Forza Motorsport (that’s right – there’s no number assigned to this entry in the franchise) with a beautiful trailer.

Revealed during today’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Turn 10’s latest motorsports game will be coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC early next year. The studio calls it the “most technologically advanced racing game of all time”. To highlight these technological advances, the team presented Maple Valley, a fan favorite track, as well as the news that the game will have a dynamic day/night cycle, a first for the motorsport series.

Not to be confused with Playground Games’ Forza Horizon series, Motorsport is more of a racing sim than an arcade racing game, making it an especially great time for people who really enjoy getting under the hood of the vehicles they race. On top of that, Forza Motorsport uses a lot of environmental technology to simulate not only how the cars would drive, but also how the time of day, the temperature involved and more can affect the race.

Everything looks great thanks to ray tracing, photorealism techniques and more. This includes the car damage that your vehicle suffers when you hit other drivers or obstacles on the track.
