Four children treated at school for medical complaints not related to fentanyl

According to authorities, four children were being treated for medical conditions at a school in Koreatown on Thursday morning.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange confirmed the problem had nothing to do with fentanyl. It wasn’t immediately clear what prompted the medical call to a charter school at 152 N. Vermont Ave.

Two students were taken to a local hospital and two other students remained at school while paramedics examined them.

This is an evolving story.
