Fox Host Removed After Attacking Tucker & Trump

The Fox News schedule features a rotating host of “The Five.” In a tweet on Thursday, Geraldo Rivera told his Twitter followers that his planned appearances on the conference program on Thursday and Friday have been cancelled.

“My appearances today and tomorrow on The Five have been cancelled. I’m sure there’s a good reason.” he say.

Rivera added that he will be returning to the show soon.

“Don’t be afraid, I’ll be back next week. Stay safe and happy. Thank.”

Rivera appeared on “The Five” as the center-left participant in the show’s lively discussions. Fox News has been plagued by uncertainty following the firing of Tucker Carlson, the main-time host star who has become the face of a conservative-leaning cable network.

There is no indication that Rivera’s schedule is malfunctioning and Carlson’s departure is related.

“The Five” co-host Greg Gutfeld briefly mentioned Carlson during an awkward segment that aired after he was abruptly fired.

Gutfeld joked that Carlson would run for president in 2024 — only because Jeanine Pirro suddenly switched to a commercial break. Gutfeld and Rivera exchanged chilling tweets after the latter criticized Carlson’s rhetoric about the infiltration of the Capitol shortly after his deportation.
