Franklin felon charged after stealing $375 of women’s clothing

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Franklin Police Department thanked the public after saying multiple tips led to the arrest of an accused shoplifter following an incident last month.

On May 24, police asked for help identifying a man they said stole $375 worth of women’s clothing from Mallory Lane Kohl’s store. Authorities said multiple leads helped identify the suspect as David Baker, 43, of Franklin.

Franklin Police said Baker, a convicted felon who was on parole, was arrested last Thursday. When the police arrested him, it was determined that he was in possession of drugs.

Baker was charged with theft, violation of probation and possession of heroin. He is being held without bail. Franklin felon charged after stealing $375 of women’s clothing
