Free agent Dario Saric agrees to one-year deal with Warriors

Free-agent forward Dario Saric has agreed to a one-year contract with the Golden State Warriors, Excel Basketball agents Jeff Schwartz and Mike Lindeman told ESPN on Saturday morning.

Saric, who played with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Phoenix Suns a year ago, was one of the most sought-after players out there. At 5’11”, Saric brings height and shots from the bench to the Warriors.

Saric has fully recovered from a cruciate ligament injury that cost him the entire 2020-2021 season.

Saric has a playoff history with the Warriors, including averaging 17.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists with the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2018 playoffs. In 14 playoff games in 2021, he averaged 10, 5 minutes for the Suns.

Saric has averaged 11 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in seven years in the NBA, including stints with the Sixers, Timberwolves, Suns and Thunder.
