After weeks of waiting, the OB34 update for Free Fire is getting closer with each passing day. The player base is becoming more and more curious about what changes the developers will incorporate with its release.

Release date

A few days back, the developers posted the official date of the new version. According to the social media post, the Free Fire OB34 update release date is May 25, which is about a week away.

On release date, there will be a maintenance pause, during which the title will not be accessible to users.

New mysterious characters and other features

The OB34 version’s Advance server is live now and it provides features that will be implemented in the next release of the game. The Mysterious Character is a major attraction and here’s more info on it:

Mysterious character abilities: Senses Shockwave

Base level: Senses Shockwave launches a drone towards the nearest enemy within 100m, creating a pulse explosion 5m in diameter. As a result, the enemy’s movement speed is reduced by 50% and their fire rate is reduced by 10%, dealing 25 damage to them.

This area will run for 5 seconds and has a cooldown of 140 seconds after each use.

• New pet – Finn
• New Weapon – M24
• Character changes (Xayne, Kenta, Nairi, Skyler, Chrono, Alok, Steffie, A124 and Misha)
• Changes to the user interface
• Bomb Squad 5v5 – Ranking with new map

Free Gun Skins and Magic Cube

Before the upcoming patch, Indian server users can choose one of the following gun skins for free:

1) M4A1 – Netherworld Glacier

2) UMP – Zebra Papercut

3) M60 – Volcanic vortex

The same exchange will be available on May 23. Also, after the release of the Free Fire OB34 update, they will be able to get the Magic Cube by playing the game for just 15 minutes.
