Garth Brooks reveals he once showered with Steven Tyler

During his appearance on Thursday’s episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show” Brooks hilariously recalled the time he showered with Tyler in the locker room at Shea Stadium Billy Joel Concert.

During his appearance on the daytime talk show, the 61-year-old country singer and Clarkson played a game called “Rockstar Roulette.” Eventually the wheel landed at Aerosmith, after which Clarkson gushed about her love for the band and for Tyler, who she joked “thought” about it. [she] “I wanted to get married when I was a kid.”
“You have it must I have an Aerosmith song,” Clarkson said to Brooks, who casually replied, “Well, I showered with him.”
The audience began to react, but it took Clarkson a moment to grasp the revelation.
“Oh wait! You covered ‘Fever’,” she said. A heartbeat later, she seemed to realize what her guest had confessed. “Did you say, ‘I showered with himshe asked, to which Brooks confirmed, “I showered with him!”
The “Friends in Low Places” singer then opened up about what happened, noting that he and Tyler were two of several artists who performed at Joel’s “Last Play at Shea” concert event at Shea Stadium in 2008 before it was demolished .
“We’re playing The Last Play at the Shea [with] Billy Joel,” he recalled. “They are preparing to demolish Shea Stadium.” [in] New York. I’m walking out there late anyway, and there’s only the baseball showers.
“I’m showering in there getting ready for the show,” Brooks continued. “I had soap in my eyes and I look around and there’s Steven Tyler, [and] he also showers. “Hey Steven! How are you?'”
The Grammy winner jokingly asked, “How many people can say that?” to which Clarkson laughed and quipped, “Well, who knows?”
“Who knows? He’s rock ‘n’ roll. I don’t know,” she added as she and Brooks continued to laugh. “You might not be that special, Garth.”
