Gary Gensler Stonewalls Congress – WSJ

Republicans on the Senate Banking Committee sent Mr. Gensler a letter June 15 with questions about the agency’s 490-page proposed rule requiring publicly traded companies to disclose climate risks. Companies would need to explain how government anti-carbon guidelines like the SEC’s proposal could affect their bottom line. They would also have to quantify and report their greenhouse gas emissions, including those from suppliers and customers.
