Christine McGuinness, Brooke Vincent and Kerry Katona are all lining up to follow in their footsteps after impressing radio bosses.

According to insiders, the women are in talks about taking over the helm while Gemma has her second child.

Gemma usually presents the Drive Time Show with Mike Toolan on Hits Radio every weekday.

A source said: “It’s a really exciting time for the radio show. Of course everyone will miss Gemma dearly, but they have some big names on board.

“It’s a big gig for Christine and Brooke and the boss meetings have gone really well so it’s likely all three names will attend.”

The final line-up will be announced next Thursday.

In February, the mother-to-be announced that she was pregnant with her second child.

Gemma and her partner Gorka Maquez announced the happy news on Instagram.

The pair met while the actress was attending Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.

They are already parents to a daughter named Mia and are excited to welcome a baby boy.
