Girl, 15, sexually assaulted at London beauty spot as cops launch manhunt for suspect ‘in his late teens’

Police are on the hunt for a teenager after a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at a popular London beauty salon.

The victim was on Hampstead Heath when she was attacked near the Parliament Hill lookout at around 10.45pm on Saturday.

According to the police, the suspect is believed to be in his late teens.

According to the Metropolitan Police, the suspect is believed to be about 1.70 meters tall, had short brown hair and was wearing jeans and a blue t-shirt.

Officials say the victim and her attacker may not have known each other well prior to the incident as they belonged to different friendship groups.

Detective Sergeant Sam Lockstone, of the local Camden Police team, said: “We have conducted a number of inquiries including a search for surveillance cameras and a forensic investigation of the crime scene.”

“We understand there were a large number of teenagers on Parliament Hill at the time of the attack and that the victim and suspect belonged to different friendship groups.”

He is now urging anyone who has witnessed “suspicious activity” to contact the team immediately.

“I would also like to encourage parents of children who were in the area last night to ask them if they can help with the investigation,” he added.
