They sent Gogglebox fans into a frenzy when they provided an unexpected update on when the new episode of the Channel 4 show will be released.

The stars flew to Spain earlier this summer and announced they had returned to the Costa Dorada for a second dose of fun in the sun.

They posted a snap of themselves posing on the stunning beach to Instagram, with the caption, “One more vacation before Gogglebox launches in September hola! xxx.”

In response to her post, one delighted follower gushed, “I can’t wait for you two to make me laugh again!”

Another said: “Have fun guys. I look forward to seeing you both in September. Enjoy the sunshine.”

And a third typed: “Have a great holiday you both. Can’t wait to see you guys back on our screens xx.”

Fans have been enjoying the spin-off series Celebrity Gogglebox for the past few weeks while the original version is on hiatus.

Recently, viewers could see Clare Balding and MasterChef star Gregg Wallace wiping tears from their eyes during spooky TV scenes.

On the Channel 4 show, the cast watched a clip from Netflix’s diving documentary The Deepest Breath, which recounted how an experienced diver lost his life.

Previously, stars Denise Van Outen and Duncan James had to gasp when one of the contestants required mouth-to-mouth resuscitation after collapsing underwater and running out of oxygen.
