‘Good Morning’ – British fans furious as the ITV show is canceled due to postponements

GOOD Morning Britain fans were furious on Friday as the show suffered a massive shakeup.
ITV viewers tuned in expecting Kate Garraway, 56, and Ben Shephard, 48, to star in the three-hour episode.
Good Morning Britain airs between 6am and 9am every weekday. Presenter Susanna Reid, 52, moderates the first half of the week with different co-stars.
Ben and Kate then take over the episode for Thursday and Friday.
But today they found that the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 had taken their place.
The Philippines meet Switzerland in the opening match, with the broadcaster saying GMB will not return until Thursday 27 July.
But during the day, fans don’t miss out, because the Lorraine show at 9 a.m. still has its place.
Fans took to Twitter to comment, with one outraged: “Not having #GMB this morning was awful!”
A second sentence: “You canceled #gmb for women’s football?” as a third continued: “Where’s @GMB this morning? I never thought it was over because of the soccer World Cup.”
One then mused: “Why did they cancel #GMB to show the football instead of showing it on ITV2?”
Another added: “Really how unprofessional @GMB.”
is to give up the news. On the BBC they don’t stop broadcasting the news, they switch to BBC 2 when tennis is on.”
One GMB fan simply said, “I don’t like not doing #GMB.”
Earlier this week, host Susanna Reid said goodbye to the show.
When she headed off for summer vacation, she made a change to the show.
As she wrapped up the episode with money saving expert Martin Lewis, 51, presenter Susanna said cheerfully: “Good morning UK, back tomorrow at 6am.”
“I’m going to say goodbye now!” before waving big.
Then she added, “It’s time for Lorraine!”
A regular host of Good Morning Britain, the mother of three often takes time off during the school holidays.
She made the same comment back in May before taking time off the screen for the half-time break.
