Goshen, California shooting: Tulare County Sheriff’s Office to give update after 6 shot dead, including baby and teen

TULARE COUNTY, California — A California sheriff’s office will provide an update Tuesday on a shooting that killed six people in Goshen.

A press conference will be held at 4:00 p.m. EST at the Sheriff’s Office headquarters in Visalia, California.

It comes after lawmakers responded to a home on Harvest Avenue near 68th Street early Monday morning.

Investigators said at least two gunmen rampaged, with gunfire so intense it was originally called as a potential active gunman.

Among the victims are 16-year-old Alissa Parraz and her 10-month-old son Nycholas Nolan Parraz.

The teenager was from Northern California and had lived in Goshen with his father’s side of the family for a year.

Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux said the shooting appears to be gang- and possibly drug-related and believes it was not a random act of violence.

He went on to describe it as a cartel-style execution.
