If you’re a fan of some of Bethesda’s other games, the channel’s other content is well worth checking out. It has similar videos made for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout New Vegas. The Oblivion The re-enactment is particularly appealing, since it’s a 16-year-old game. Seeing an incredible looking classic RPG like this is amazing.

The Skyrim showcase is awesome, but by no means what the game will look like. Just to be clear, this clip doesn’t show a playable version of a rebuild Skyrim. It’s a custom environment put together using the Unreal Engine with mostly original content. Its scale is much smaller than any Elder Scrolls game. Scaling something of that quality to cover a full AAA RPG would be quite a task.
