Hockey Canada Leaders Step Down in Wake of Sexual-Assault Settlement

OTTAWA — The CEO and board of directors at Canada’s hockey regulator resigned Tuesday, after some of Canada’s largest corporations cut financial ties with the organization in response. with the handling of sexual assault allegations.
Hockey Canada said the resignations were in recognition of the “urgent need for leadership and fresh perspective.” The organization will hold a vote for members to elect a new board of directors by mid-December at the latest.
