Hollyoaks star disappointed as marriage secretly ends after five years
A HOLLYOAKS star is devastated after his five-year marriage ended.
James Sutton plays John Paul McQueen in the Channel 4 soap and married Rachael Collin after meeting at Glastonbury music festival eight years ago.

But now The Sunday Mirror James, 40, and Rachael have reportedly quietly divorced.
James confirmed to the publication: “Rachael and I had a wonderful relationship and Wedding. It was very sad but amicable and we remain friends.”
A source added: “James and Rachael have had a really happy marriage, but as many couples can relate, their relationship became strained during lockdown.”
“James is in the public eye while Rachael prefers to stay out of the spotlight and after eight fantastic years together they decided they would be better off as friends.”
“At the moment James is focused on work. They still have a lot of love for each other.”
The couple met in camping area in Glastonbury, and James previously told how he took the first step.
He said: “I watched this girl inflating an air bed with a foot pump and thought, ‘I’ve got an electric pump in my bag, I could be a hero here’. So I went over and said, ‘Excuse me, would you like to borrow my pump?'”
James first joined Hollyoaks from 2006 to 2008 before returning in 2012 to 2017.
He most recently returned to the show in 2019 and remains part of the cast.
