This is the terrifying moment when a tourist is repeatedly impaled by an angry bull during a bullfight after trying to jump back on it.
The French national, said to be in his 50s, jumped into the arena in Albacete, Spain, on August 24 where spectators are asked to test their mettle against a bull.
But as he approaches the bull from behind, he turns and slams it against a barrier with his horns.
As he falls to the ground, the one-ton bull stabs and tramples him before throwing him into the air.
While others try to distract it with cloaks, it keeps attacking the now unconscious man, repeatedly throwing him into the air with its horns.
As the man lands face up on the arena floor, a gaping horn cut is visible on his abdomen, and blood is oozing from it.
The onslaught only ends when a man manages to pull the bull away with his cloak at the end of the footage.
Onlookers escorted the man to safety before he was taken to nearby Hellin Hospital by ambulance.
He is reportedly in serious condition.
The brutal blood battle took place during the celebrations of Lietor’s patron saint, which took place between August 23 and 26.
Known for its connection to the blood sport, the region has a bullfighting school and a 12,000-seat arena.
Last month, 28-year-old matador Alejandro Conquero was impaled in the rectum and thrown about by a bull in Spain.
A shocking video captured the moment Alejandro was impaled in the butt by the enraged bull as spectators watched from the stands.
The javelin came just weeks after the so-called “Messi of the Matadors” was impaled by an enraged £1,000 bull in Santiago, Spain.
Footage shows the beast charging at 26-year-old Andrés Roca Rey before pinning him against the barriers and throwing him into the air.
