How long does the Double XP Event last? This is where the free weekend ends

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Double XP Event and Free Multiplayer Weekend has been happening for the past few days, but some CoD MW2 players are wondering how long it will last and when it will end.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has been mostly fantastic since it released back in October, and recently we received the really exciting mid-season update of Season 1 Reloaded. This update added the Shipment map, for which Activision’s information provides an overview of changes made to the popular cargo ship playground, along with tips on how to survive against the enemy.

While Season 1 Reloaded added one of many fan-favorite maps from COD history, it also gives many people the opportunity to play the game’s multiplayer for free.

How long is the double XP event in CoD MW2?

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Double XP Event and Free Weekend only lasts for four days.

It started on December 15th and is expected to end on December 19th at 10:00am PT, 1:00pm ET and 6:00pm GMT for the UK. At this time, the free weekend trial also ends, which means that you will no longer be able to play if you have not purchased CoD MW2.
