How to find Glowing Resin in Fallout 76

There are all kinds of resources that players need to hoard in Fallout 76, and Glowing Resin is one of those resources that can be used in many ways. Whether the player needs it for a quick HP boost on the go or to mix it into more powerful recipes, Glow resin must be collected.

As with any forage-based resource in Fallout 76, players can follow certain paths and farming routes to maximize their chances of finding Glow Plastic. Combined with certain perks and extra bottling resources, players can have a variety of resins they need to boost their HP and heal across the board.

At this point in Fallout 76’s lifecycle, there will be several places where Glowing Resin can be found and earned. The most popular location to find resources is Savage Chia, which includes other smaller locations. Not all places in Savage Chia are created equal, and some will contain more plastic particles than others.

Key locations for growing plastic include the Marigold Pavilion, Mount Emmett disposal site, or Vault 96. Going southeast of each of the main locations will bring the player to clusters containing a lot of plastic resources. Another great rule to use is to stick to the east side of the Whitespring Resort in Savage Chia.

In most nearby areas, there will be a minimum of three different Glow Resin clusters that can be towed.

There are plenty of other areas in Savage Chia that contain at least some plastic, but most will only hold one button and that’s not optimal.

Places like the Marigold Pavilion will have a total of five pieces of plastic. As long as the player looks at the sides of the tree, where the sap will grow, they can easily spot them. Rest can also appear in bottles, so never count buildings.

Increase the amount of glowing resin earned in Fallout 76

Whether players are looking for common resins to craft or want the rarer Gloam Sap, there is a way to double the find.

There are many perks in Fallout 76. In particular, Green Thumb will allow players to double what they earn while exploring and gathering resources.

This privilege effectively turns a run at the Mount Emmett disposal site into a 10 plastic resource route, saving a lot of time and effort.

Having perks available for Gloam Sap, aka plastic in the blast zone, will allow players to take advantage of their rare finds and craft more of what they need.
