It’s no secret that social networking apps have made it easier to stay in touch with friends and family. Even so, you cannot ignore their negative impact on your health and productivity.

Most social networking apps have features that help users limit the amount of time spent on the platform. The Facebook app offers a similar feature called daily time reminders.

If you’re tired of spending too much time on Facebook, we’ll show you how to limit it by setting up daily time reminder alerts using the Facebook app.

How to set daily time reminder alerts on Facebook

To set a daily time reminder alert on Facebook, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Facebook account using the app.
  2. Touch three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner (on iPhone) or in the top right corner (on Android).
  3. Towards Setting from the drop-down menu for Settings & Privacy.
  4. Towards Your time on Facebook Below Interests.
  5. Go Manage your time.

Use Facebook’s daily time reminder to limit your time on Facebook during the day, and the app will notify you when you’ve crossed that limit. Having reminder alerts will help you stop scrolling through your feed and increase your productivity.
