Hugh Jackman’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness breaks her silence on their split in a live phone call following the shocking split

HUGH Jackman’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness has broken her silence on her shocking split from the actor.
The 67-year-old actress spoke out after Australian radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie “O” Henderson accidentally called her live on Tuesday.
The duo was completely taken aback when Deborra-Lee picked up the phone.
Kyle admitted: “We actually called you by mistake, that’s ridiculous. Seriously, there’s no mix-up.”
“We didn’t actually want to call you. But now that you’re here, we won’t go into that any further. We love you, we hope you’re well.”
Deborra-Lee replied: “Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. You guys are really cute.”
Acknowledging the public breakdown of their marriage, Kyle continued: “I just feel like it’s too soon. I don’t want to get involved in anything.”
He added: “But we love you and you call us if you want to chat.”
Deborra-Lee responded kindly, “Thank you guys. I really appreciate it,” before hanging up.
Hugh, 54, and Deborra-Lee announced earlier this month that they were separating after 27 years of marriage.
“We have been fortunate to spend nearly three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” they said People.
“Our journey is now changing and we have decided to part ways to further our individual growth.
“Our family has always been and will be our top priority. We approach this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness.”
“We thank you very much for your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition throughout our lives.”
They concluded: “This is the only statement any of us will make.”
Hugh and Deborra-Lee have two children together: son Oscar, 23, and daughter Ava, 18.
Signs of trouble?
The couple were photographed looking somber together just weeks before announcing their split.
They were seen looking serious as they sat next to each other at the men’s final of the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London, England.
Since announcing their split, Hugh has been spotted out and about without his wedding ring.
The couple met on the set of the Australian television show Correlli in 1995 and married a year later.
“Deb, she was a big star… I get picked up and Deb is in the front seat of the car. I’ll never forget it,” Hugh told People in 2017.
He went on to describe how they met.
