I-76 Flooding: Drivers try to make their way through flooded Schuylkill Expressway in Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania

UPPER MERION TWP., Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Heavy rain caused flooding on parts of the Schuylkill Expressway during Tuesday morning’s drive.

Sky6 showed drivers attempting to move eastbound through the flooded lanes of I-76 around 7 a.m

The flooding occurred at the Schuylkill between Route 202 and Gulph Mills.

Traffic flowed in the left lane as the other lanes were covered with water.

At least one vehicle got stuck in the flood water.

Workers could be seen trying to clear the drain at the Schuylkill.

The Schuylkill also flooded in the east lanes of Belmont Avenue.
