An electric car owner has revealed one of the main things he hates about his electric car.
The man walking by @bill_retired on TikTok, decided to share the things that excite him about his new electric vehicle.
The influencer begins the video by admitting that there are many reasons why he enjoys the EV experience.
“I’ve really liked it so far, I love the car.
“It’s great to drive and has a lot of torque.”
However, Bill quickly comes to his main criticism of his Nissan Leaf.
“The main thing I was disappointed with was the range.”
“I typically have a range of 120 miles when the car is 100% charged.
The engine guru tells viewers he can use 90% of that range when he’s not dealing with strong winds.
However, in harsh conditions the expected mileage will decrease quickly.
He continued: “However, when I ride into the wind, I get 70% of that range.”
“So if I’m told I have a range of 100 miles, I’m expecting a range of about 70 miles when traveling into the wind.”
“I wasn’t prepared for that, it was a shock for me.”
Bill strongly warns potential electric vehicle owners before their local dealer hands them the keys.
He concluded: “So if you’re looking for an electric vehicle, I wouldn’t look at anything that has a range of less than 300 miles on a full charge.”
“With 300 miles, you can manage the battery the way you should and not have constant range anxiety.”
This came after an electric car owner urged Brits to avoid buying the motors.
Daren, the man behind the YouTube account Honest moneyrevealed his most hated features of the ecological option.
Elsewhere, a mechanic with over 50 years’ experience revealed why he would never buy an electric car, saying the benefits were a myth.
Scotty Kilmer posted a clip on his Youtube Channel that denigrates the idea of owning an electric vehicle (EV).
