A WOMAN who bought a “pure” French Bulldog online for £800 has revealed how horrified she was when it arrived.
TikTok user Crystalchas saw pictures of the dog before continuing to make expensive purchases.
But what arrived at her doorstep was far from the pictures of the dog she had seen and believed she would receive.
Instead of her French Bulldog breed, what came next was a completely different breed.
Crystal revealed that she was tricked into buying toys and food specifically for a French Bulldog.
In the video, she writes: “I hope this person tripped their toe on their kitchen table.”
She ended the video by sharing two photos of the dog she believes she bought.
Crystal said she has contacted her bank to try to get the money back but is unsure if it will be successful.
In response to the comments, she also revealed she recently had “a chihuahua that passed away before Christmas”.
While some viewers were quick to sympathize, others deemed her naive.
One said: “People are always fooled like this with French Bulldogs but as an owner of French Bulldogs don’t give up because they are the best dogs ever now”.
Another said: “People are always fooled like this with French dogs but as French dog owners don’t give up because they are the best dogs ever.”
But a third viewer wrote: “I don’t know how people fall for these scams when there are so many warnings and horror stories out there.”
And another added: “And this is why you go to a reputable breeder”.
However, the story had a happy ending as Crystal later shared another video hugging her new puppy.
It comes after a man revealed how he bought a “pure” Golden Retriever online for £23 but was shocked when his new dog arrived at the post office.
Liu, from China, is excited to buy her new poodle – only to be sent something completely different.
