Tahnee who passed by @christmasprepper online revealed that she needed an extra freezer to preserve food from her allotment.

“We have a normal size freezer plus this,” she said in a TikTok video.

Tahnee revealed she bought the standard freezer on Facebook for £40.

She said: “We had an allocation so we bought half of the frozen FB market for £40 a few years ago.”

However, the white freezer was bland and didn’t match her kitchen decor.

So Tahnee found an economical and effective way to decorate.

First Tahnee decorated her freezer lid so she had more storage space.

She used a wood-effect peel-and-stick vinyl wrap so her freezer could match her other countertops.

You can buy similar self-adhesive film from stores such as B&M for just £7.50.

These are useful if you rent because they are not permanent and can be easily peeled off when you are finished using them.

They are also heat resistant and waterproof, making them perfect for decorating freezers like Tahnee’s.

The DIY fan created a similar effect by adding blue/green wallpaper to the base of his freezer.

You can also buy this product at B&M in a variety of colors and materials.

Now, it looks like Tahnee has more countertop space in the kitchen, but it also serves as additional storage for her frozen fruits and vegetables.

The DIY fan video has garnered 31,000 views online.

One user said: “Wow, I really like how you created the wood effect and would love to see the process.”

Another said: “This is genius.”

“So beautiful!!” said a third person.

A fourth asked: “Why have I never thought of tapping vinyl?!”
