WE all love a bargain. So when you spot one, it can be tempting to grab it, especially if it’s a household staple.
One smart woman decided to do just that when she spotted laundry pads on sale at Asda and was delighted with her bargain find.
Share the loot with the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UKEmma Saunders got hold of 114 Persil laundry pads at a bargain price.
The bargain hunter paid £2.14 for a box, meaning each pod cost her just 5p, and she decided it was a good time to stock up and free the shelf with the bargain, so she’s set for months were.
Emma revealed that there were only three boxes left on the shelf, so she decided to snag the crowd.
In the post, she wrote: “Good find for me this morning at Asda worth £2.14 a box. Only those three were left, so I had them.”
There were people who were criticized for clearing the shelves with bargains.
But the savvy shopper wasn’t the only one who was delighted to have found the bargain. Many people admitted that they cleared out the shelf too.
One person wrote: “Good for you. I would have done the same.”
Another commented, “Nice well done.”
“Wow that’s a steal,” wrote a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth said: “These are great!!!”
