I didn’t want to slave for hours so cooked a whole roast dinner in my slow cooker – plus it only takes minutes to prep

A SAVVY chef revealed how he makes an ENTIRE fried chicken dinner in his slow cooker — and it takes less than 10 minutes to make, too.
Nate took to TikTok to share his easy recipe, which involves popping a whole chicken, potatoes, carrots, and onions in his slow cooker to cook in one go.

The foodie, known online as @boredoflunch, regularly shares easy slow cooker and air fryer recipes with his 644,300 followers.
In a new role, he said: “You have to try this slow cooker fried chicken dinner.
“Everything cooks in the slow cooker. Your potatoes, your carrots, your chicken.
“You can even make your sauce with the juices.
“It doesn’t get any easier than that, and it’ll set you some money for your energy too, so happy days.”
“Add everything, cook on high for five hours, then pop under the grill for about 10 minutes to crisp up the skin nicely.
“Make your sauce and get set. How easy was that?”
During the 25-second video, Nate also lists everything you need to make his one-pot dinner, including three potatoes, two carrots, and a white onion.
Foodies also need a whole raw chicken, and he also suggests adding rosemary, thyme, garlic, salt and pepper, and some dried herbs for flavor.
After Nate puts all the ingredients in his slow cooker, he adds 150ml of stock and a generous drizzle of olive oil before cooking on high for five hours.
Fans loved his quick and easy recipe, with the video garnering more than 9,060 likes and 341,700 views.
In the comments, TikTokker shared their thoughts, with one writing, “Away to make this now.”
“Your slow cooker recipes are fantastic. You inspired me to buy one this week,” commented another.
A third said: “This looks delicious mate love your recipes. But you forgot Yorkshire pudding and filling.’
While not everyone was won over by his recipe, as some suggested, it might not be the healthiest option.
