I ‘died and went to heaven’ – I’m so grateful I got to see the other side, there’s nothing to fear

A WOMAN has revealed what she saw at the moment of her death.

Courtney Santiago, 32, described going to the “other side” after losing consciousness following her double heartbreak.

“I was only gone for about forty seconds and I couldn’t hide the shock on my face because it felt like a lifetime,” said Courtney, from New Jersey, USA.

The mother carries the BRCA-2 gene and is therefore at high risk of developing breast cancer.

In July 2022, the mother underwent a breast MRI – which she does regularly to monitor her health

After the IV started, the medical director became nauseous and quickly lost consciousness.

“I wasn’t afraid to leave my body, my life, my son, or my family and friends — none of it felt important,” she explained.

“There was no concept of time at all, just a feeling of complete peace.”

In a video posted to TikTok, she recalled falling into a “dream state” as she stood on the beach in front of a man she had never met but had always known.

Without saying a word, the man assured her that everything would be fine and that it wasn’t her time yet.

Soon her landscape morphed into mountains, the back yard of her childhood home, and all the places where she felt most connected to nature.

When she woke up, Courtney claimed she was unable to speak as her body felt completely stiff, but was soon back in a condition suitable for discharge.

Further testing revealed that she had suffered from vasovagal syncope, a condition often linked to severe emotional distress.

A prolonged episode of fainting occurs, during which the heart stops beating for up to 10 seconds, but is not considered life-threatening.

Weeks earlier, Courtney had suffered a bad breakup and the death of a friend.

The mother does not believe her experience was typical.

“I’m 100% sure what I saw was the ‘in between’ and a lot more than just a fainting episode,” she said.

In the clip, she details her ordeal, noting that her routine check-up made her feel like something was about to go wrong.

In two more videos, she further explains the situation, concluding by saying, “When we die, we’re not gone, and where we’re going, we’re happy.”

TikTok user Lisa Marshall said: “Before my father died, he reported having several visions of me at different ages… I am very much alive. He didn’t do drugs.”

Another person added: “I survived sudden cardiac arrest. Four days in a coma. honey i believe you I know.” I had a very similar experience last year. It felt like I was in another dimension,” commented Karen Rookard.

One person said: “I recently lost someone. That really gave me peace. Godd bless you.

“My daughter has cardiovascular syncope and her heart actually stops for up to 30 seconds during this syncope,” added another
